Why should I choose this center over others to have laser treatment?
This center specializes in laser technology. The sole focus of the entire practice is devoted to lasers. We have invested in top-of-line lasers, and own them. These lasers are used to treat all nationalities.  Professionals at this center are licensed and credentialed in the use of lasers and have over 18 years of experience in treating over 20 different kinds of skin problems. The center is recognized for its expertise in performing laser treatments. Doctors and specialists refer patients here for evaluation and treatment. Do the laser treatments cause scarring?
Our center is known for its ability to use lasers and not scar the skin. Our reputation is built upon it! In fact, patients are referred to us who have scars, that need us to use our lasers to correct their scars. This is where our knowledge  and experience in using lasers really counts.  The high quality of  laser equipment we use makes a difference as well.  All procedures carry some risk.  You will need to follow our instructions to do your part to make sure the risk of  scarring is negligible.

Does laser treatment cause cancer?  Are laser treatments safe?
Laser light cannot cause cancer. The laser light wavelengths are not in the ionizing wavelength range such as x-rays, or even natural sunlight rays. Safety is the reason why we use lasers. We use laser light that is color selective, so it will find its target in the skin and not damage surrounding tissue. The light wave will not scatter. All its energy is preserved in its travel and is delivered to the targeted problem. This way we really know what energy is delivered and decide what is effective. You will wear protective eyewear during laser treatment.

May I have laser treatments if I am pregnant?
Laser treatment may be done while pregnant. You should seek the advice and guidance of your own physician regarding your pregnancy and any limitation specific for you.

What does it cost?
Laser treatments are affordable. You pay as you go, only for the treatment that you received that day. Some things we treat need one or two treatments, some a series. Each skin problem is different therefore the prices vary. You will be given a written, custom estimate at the time of your consultation. Estimates cost $25, and that fee is applied toward your first treatment. The minimum fee for a treatment is typically $75. Prices go up from there, but are very competitive with the laser market, and often better.

How many treatments will I need?
Every skin problem is unique, therefore the number of treatments needed vary. Tattoo removal usually requires 10-12 treatments. Red and brown skin problems usually require 1-3 treatments and hair removal typically requires 8-10 treatments.

How long must I wait between treatments?
For the red and brown skin problems you must wait at least 4 weeks. The tattoo removal treatments usually are 2 months between treatments; and the hair removal laser requires at least 4-6 weeks between treatments.

Are laser treatments usually covered by health insurance?
No. Most laser treatments are considered cosmetic. Some insurance plans will cover the removal of birthmarks. We recommend that you check with your insurance company before you begin treatment. Where appropriate, our Medical Director can write a letter of medical necessity to assist you.

How is payment accepted?
You may pay using cash, personal check,Visa, Master Card, Discover or debit cards. Payment is expected at the time of service.
